About Me

Linds
I needed a new hobby. So, summer 2007, I decided to train for the BAA Half Marathon in October. Halfway through training I thought I should continue with this new hobby. I ran the 112th Boston Marathon in April. Many of you thought I was crazy and that I'd never do it. But I did. The only thing that kept me in check throughout it all was that I ran with an awesome group of people - the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge Team...raising close to 12k for Innovative Basic Cancer Research. I am back for another stab at the same race knowing that the race against cancer gets tougher every year. I will continue running until I don't have to anymore and we have reached the ultimate finish line: A World Without Cancer. Track my running and fundraising progress here!

Somehow I thought that doubling the training would be easy...
